This privacy policy applies to personal information Bayshore Construction Inc. 

may collect about you through its websites, apps, or other online media under its operation and control (collectively, the “Site”) and to other information we may collect about you in the course of our business.  

Bayshore Construction Inc. recognizes and respects the privacy of the individuals whose personal information it collects, uses and otherwise processes in the course of its business.

 Personal information you provide 

Bayshore Construction Inc. collects personal information about individuals when specifically, and knowingly provided by such individuals for purposes disclosed or otherwise known to them when they provide their information or for the wider purposes set out below. This includes, for example, voluntary submission of an email address for our news email update list, providing a business card in a meeting, sending us an email which includes personal information about you, providing basic details for building security purposes when you enter Bayshore Construction Inc. premises, or allowing us to photograph, film or otherwise record you when you attend an event that we host or sponsor. 

Unless we explain otherwise at the time, providing personal information that we request is optional and disclosures are made voluntarily. 

Automatic collection of your personal information 

We collect certain information by automated means when you visit our premises or websites. In particular: 

  • Our websites log IP addresses, the type of operating system that the visitor’s computer uses, the type of browser software used by the visitor, and the pages accessed by the visitor. 

Bayshore Construction Inc. uses this data, in aggregated form, to perform statistical analyses of the collective characteristics and behaviour of our visitors and to measure overall user demographics and interests regarding specific areas of the site.  

  • Our websites also use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to help the website analyze how users use the site. Bayshore Construction Inc. does not trade, sell, share, or rent personal information but may collect or provide aggregate statistics about its websites and their users to other parties who do not provide services directly to Bayshore Construction Inc. 

Except in rare circumstances where Bayshore Construction Inc. is required by law to disclose or otherwise process your personal information, Bayshore Construction Inc. will only process your personal information as necessary for the purposes explained to you when the information is collected or otherwise set out in this policy. Retention of Your Personal Information

Storage of Your Personal Information 

Bayshore Construction Inc.  uses third-party cloud storage providers to store Bayshore Construction Inc.  data, such as company emails, that may include your personal information. In such circumstances, these agents will not have access to your Personal Information other than to facilitate Bayshore Construction Inc. storage and retrieval of that data. 

EU-US Data Privacy Framework and UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework 

Bayshore Construction Inc.  complies with the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union and the UK to the United States (“DPF”). Bayshore Construction Inc. l has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the DPF Principles with respect to such information (“DPF Principles”).1 To learn more about the DPF program visit www.dataprivacyframework.gov. The U.S. Federal Trade Commission (“FTC”) has jurisdiction over Bayshore Construction Inc. compliance with the DPF and is subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the FTC regarding transfers made under the DPF. Bayshore Construction Inc. is responsible for any subsequent onward transfers of this data to third parties acting as an agent on its behalf and shall remain liable if its agent processes such personal data in a manner inconsistent with the DPF Principles (unless it is proven that Bayshore Construction Inc. is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage).

In compliance with the DPF, Bayshore Construction Inc. commits to cooperate and comply respectively with the advice of the panel established by the EU data protection authorities (‘DPAs’) and the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) regarding unresolved complaints concerning our handling of personal data received in reliance on the DPF. In the event we are unable to satisfactorily resolve your complaint, you may contact the following organizations to assist you in resolving your complaint: ICO at https://ico.org.uk/ or the EU Data Protection Authorities at https://edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/board/members_en.

California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”)
